I am a current doctoral student at the University of Maryland, College Park, studying values in design with Katie Shilton. I'm from San Diego, California, where I graduated from SDSU with a bachelor's in Marketing in 2009 and UCSD's Rady School of Management with an MBA in 2011. I focused my coursework on innovation and technology, which I supported with a summer internship for Samsung in Suwon, South Korea, and a 6-month internship with a local business analytics software company, which became my full-time job after graduation. I worked in various marketing research and consulting roles until discovering academic research and pursuing it wholeheartedly.
